Thursday 27th August

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I have to go away for the next few days.

As far as I know the carpenters will be working at the site for the next week.

The pool is due to be delivered on Tuesday and we need another load of sand as the first one blew away.

So, over the next week you can expect along Jack's Corner Road

The carpenter's truck and ute every work day.

Small deliveries of wood.

Another truck and dog with sand.

and if all goes well the pool arriving on Tuesday.

Wednesday 26th August

Too windy to do anything.

The pool has been postponed till next week and not much else happened at Noggarah.

Wednesday we are expecting the carpenters back on site and possibly more deliveries of wood.

And possibly a truck delivering wood.

Tuesday 25th August

You put them together Bit by Bit.

The carpenters had a great day today and nearly got the frame up.

Tuesday should be fairly quiet.

The carpenters are having the day at another job.

The pool is due to be delivered around 9-9.30 in the morning.

The truck with bobcat will be coming in earlier and so will the pool installation guy.

So along Jack's Corner Road you can expect;

The truck with bobcat on board

The pool guy's ute

and the truck delivering the pool.

Monday 24th August

Well, The pool delivery was postponed but they did get the garage frames up.

I think it is going to look like a fire station.

A fairly quiet day is expected for Monday.

The Carpenters are due and so is another delivery of windows.

The electrician is coming down to check that all is going OK

And the site manager will be there to set everything straight.

And the load of sand may also be delivered.


So along Jack's Corner Road you can expect:

Tradesman's utes and truck.

Large truck delivering windows and

Maybe a truck and dog delivering sand.

Friday 21 August

Let's Hope they deliver the pool today as we are all ready for it.

The carpenters started on the frames and will continue with that on Friday.

The excavator has finished for the while
and some of the windows were delivered.

The pool being delivered
A truck and dog delivering sand
The plumber's truck in the afternoon

Thursday 19th August

Well, not everything goes to plan.

The carpenters are starting on Thursday.

The pool digging will continue and there is still a possibility
that the windows will be delivered Thursday or Friday.

Two carpenter's utes and a small truck.
The boys utes coming to do more pool digging and
Maybe the window truck.

Wednesday 19th August

it's pool time.

Wednesday we start the digging the pool.

And the carpenters are turning up to start erecting the frame.

I am not expecting the delivery of the pool till Friday but that has not been confirmed as yet.

There may also be a delivery of sand for under the pool.

The truck with the small excavator on it.

Possibly the truck and dog with the sand.

And Dave Selby to oversee everything.

Tuesday 18th August


So, the last of the frames have arrived. And I ain't got a one yet.

The carpenters are either starting Tuesday or Wednesday and the plumber may be on site Tuesday to continue the drainage work.

I am not expecting any big deliveries on Tuesday but the windows and pool are due later in the week.

The plumber's Truck.

Monday 17th August

Late News
Sorry, I have just found out that we are having a delivery tomorrow.

And I thought Monday was going to be a day of rest.

Monday , the remainder of the frames are going to be delivered.

One huge 40" semi trailor fully laden with the frames for the shed.

Friday 14th August


Thank you so much for your patience yesterday. It was a tough day with a lot of concrete trucks.

The concretors did an amazing job and managed to finish the entire main slab in one day. Mind you it was after 5pm when they signed off.

Friday is supposed to be an easy day.

The electrician will be back connecting the power to the main house site and
There is a possibility that the frames for the garage may be delivered today.

So along Jack's Corner Road you can expect;

The electrician's ute and
Maybe a 40" semi-trailer with frames on it.

Thursday 13th August

After a few adjustments the engineer has signed off on the preparation of the main slab.

So, weather permitting, Thursday we pour the slab.

It could be a very busy day as this slab is about twice the size of any other pour we have done.
The good news is that this will be the end of the concrete trucks for a while.

So along Jack's Corner road On Thursday you can expect:

The concrete crews arriving early in the morning and

a huge number of concrete trucks from about 7.30am till around 2 0r 3pm

Tuesday was a frantic day but we got a whole lot done.
Wednesday, weather permitting, the concretors will be doing the final preparation of the main slab.

The electrician will be there moving the power over to the main house site.
If it is fine, then you can expect along Jack's Corner Road:
The tradesman's utes and trucks
and possibly a large truck delivering house frames.

Tuesday 11th August


Hi Tom,

These guys are doing a great job but believe it or not we still need another delivery of pods and steel Tuesday.

The concretors will continue to prepare the main slab.

The electrician will be getting the power across to the main house.

The plumber will be doing storm water and sewerage to both sites

And the excavator will be doing a lot of trenching.

The truck with the excavator on the back.

The delivery truck with the pods and steel and

The council inspector to make sure we are doing everything correctly.

Well, they got the wings of the house poured on Friday.

Friday 7th August

So, This is what a waffle pod looks like.

Friday will be busy.

We are pouring the two wings of the house and this pour is bigger than last wednesday.

The concrete crew will be there first thing in the morning and then the trucks should start arriving.

So, Please take care along Jack's Corner Road as there will be:

And concrete trucks aplenty.

Again, some of these trucks will be impassable as oncoming traffic on some sections of the road.

Thursday 6th August

A big day on Wednesday but the pouring of the slab went well.

At this stage Thursday should be a fairly quiet day and then another pour on Friday.

So on Thursday there will be the concreting crew preparing part of the house slab and

The electrician will be there in the afternoon.

I also expect the pest treatment guy will be there in the afternoon and

The council inspector will also be on site in the afternoon.

I am not expecting any major deliveries today.

I hope Wednesday was not too difficult for you all. But I must say I found the truck drivers really courteous on the roads.

Wednesday 5th August


Wednesday Should be a big day.
The formwork crew will be back on site.
The concretors will be there pouring the slab.
There will be another delivery of waffle pods and steel.
And the plumber was to fix something yesterday but I think it might happen today.
So, take care along Jack's Corner Road as there will be:
Concrete trucks
Formwork crew in their truck.
Large delivery truck with Pods and Steel
And maybe the plumbers truck.
Please be aware that there are places along the road where you can not pass these oncoming trucks and it may require you to reverse to the nearest driveway.

Tuesday 4th August

Well, they have finished preparing the Garage slab ready for it to be poured and now they start on the house slab.

The plan is for the first pour to happen on wednesday if there are no hiccups.

The plumbers is doing some more drainage.
